Course Description
This level recognises basic knowledge. It is the most basic level at which a language is used, called the "discovery" stage. At this stage, the learner can interact in a simple way: he/she can speak about him/herself and his/her immediate environment.
Course Prerequisite
This is the first entry level so no prerequisites needed here !
Course Duration
- A1 which is the Level 1 of the CEFR takes 3 to 3.5 months or 60 hours.
- Choose as per your preference - each session last for 1h, 2h, 3h.
- Monday to Sunday from 9am to 11pm.
Course Flexibility
- You decide on your preferred days and time & how many times in a week you wish to have classes. (as per tutor availability)

A Diploma Certification issued by the French Education Ministry is the Diplôme d'études en langue française or DELF. These assure the capability of the non-native French speakers towards French Language.

French – Delf A1 Exam
DELF A1 Examination highlights the first, basic knowledge of the French language. Also, as the ‘Discovery Phase’, this is based on the Level 1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages or, commonly known as CEFR.
The total marks are 100 and the pass percentage is 50%. This level of French diploma certification has 4 levels:
- 1) Listening:
In this, the candidate has to answer few questions dealing with two or recordings, played twice where each is of a length of about three minutes.
- 2) Reading:
In this section, the candidate has to answer few questionnaires on some comprehensions and passages.
- 3) Writing:
This section of the A1 level has two parts.
- Part 1: Filling a form, with some basic personal information.
- Part 2: A simple text on everyday life.
- 4) Speaking:
This section of the A1 level has three parts.
- Part 1: A Guided conversation with the examiner.
- Part 2: Information exchange on a subject.
- Part 3: Role-play between the examiner and the examinee.

- Part 2: A letter or message – Invitation, Apologies, Thank you, Congratulations.
- 4) Speaking:
This section of the A2 French certification has three parts –
- Part 1: A Guided conversation with the examiner.
- Part 2: Monologue Presentation.
- Part 3: An interaction between the examiner and the examinee.
